I just purged, and now i have a really sharp pain inside my throat on the right side. it feels like something is scratching or slicing the side of my throat and it reaallyy hurts to swallow. what could it be?
It is most likely to be a scratch therepossibly from the method you may use for purging or as said above, something sharp coming back up (though this is less likely because things soften quickly when they hit the stomach).
Another thing is that it could just be a bit of damage to the surface due to irritation of lining of your throat by the acid being in contact with an area not designed to cope with this.
