Day two

It's been two days and still going strong had thoughts and feeling to s/h again but kept strong keeping to my promise I made myself to do this for me and feeling good x

what's going on that is stressing you out?

it can be easier for people to respond if you keep updating one thread, unless you've got something on a very different topic, because it is easier to follow what is going on and not repeat the same responses over and over. doing that also leaves more space on the board for other people who need some support. its a win-win :)

Just a lot of pressure going on and trying to keep my promise to my self which I thought could of been easyer for my self is just proving harder x

I think sometimes putting pressure on yourself to stop self harming, does add stress but it's very difficult to not put pressure on yourself. I haven't quite mastered that art myself.

I guess the main thing you can do is keep very much in the moment. Don't panic too much about what could go wrong tomorrow, because right now you are self harm free and that is brilliant.

Also, remember, even if you were to slip up it isn't the end of the world. It is a part of recovery and each time we slip up, we learn something new so it doesn't have to be all doom & gloom.
