Hi Everyone,

My name is Melisa, but my friends call me Mel. I'm a 29 year old woman from the outskirts of Melbourne. I decided to sign up for an account here because I thought this might be a supportive environment to help me work through my eating disorder.

I was diagnosed as Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) at the start of this year, but my symptoms are most like bulimia, I just don't fit the current DSM criteria for bingeing.

I also have had a long history of depression and still struggle with that at times.

Anyway, I hope to get to know some of you guys.

Sorry to hear you've been struggling with your ED so I hope you find the right support here to help you through it :)
You should check out the Eating Disorder Support forums, the people who post regularly in there are really lovely and would love to give you support / kind words.
