Hello there I know I'm new here but I need some help. My grandma recently had cataract surgery. Her sight was very blurry so she decided to do the surgery. I have heard that a lot of these surgeries end up damaging the eye instead of making it better. I am really terrified for her. Also the doctor prescribed eye drops containing corticosteroids and an eye supplement Zealut Dena and said that she has to take the supplement for the rest of her life to prevent progression. However corticosteroids should be terminated after a month.


Has any of your relatives undergone a cataract surgery? Please share whether the results were positive or negative. Thanks

I had an elderly relative have cataract surgery. Its not considered a risky operation here. Eye surgery isn't very vascular and the eyes are relatively isolated.
