Northern Travels :)
When I got back my flatmate had left a lovely note and a load of clothes she didn't want anymore, and some honey!
Watched The BFG in this little independent cosy cinema, except when it started it was Finding Dory aha. Id walked into the wrong one. So came out when it had finished and paid again, only £8 for the two films!
Managed to get a cosy sofa and chair in each and put my feet up
Because the half 2 showing was full I went to the library and printed some CV's and handed them out before the 5pm one, ended up better timing.
The train back after the cinema was waiting right there and I got on and it left 15 seconds later.
Started Stranger Things, am hooked already, such a good show!

Got a call from a place I'd given my CV out to yesterday
Missed fireworks round the corner from my house (heard them & went to investigate and by the time I'd got there hundreds were leaving!) but haven't seen the tide that far in before it being so late at night, was beautiful)

- Nice chat with Tonks
- Bought a new cage and toys for my ratties and I'm excited to get them set up in their new home when it arrives.
- Found sugar free ginger beer in poundstretcher - not had this for years YUM
- Nice evening in chat with some interesting conversations
- Planning to deep clean my flat tomorrow and looking forward to having it back in order.
- jodie came to help me move stuff from our old house
- read half of one of my holiday books (not even on holiday yet, but it was just so gripping!)
- got to see Claire briefly
- went out to a friend's boyfriend's birthday celebrations and I met lots of nice people and massively surprised myself with my ability to handle such situations.
^I'm proud of you. When I first met you, you were so 'shy' and anxious and wouldn't dream of doing something like that. You've come so far. I hope you're proud of yourself too.
- my flat is so clean and tidy it looks like a show home
- J came and did manly things and now all my furniture is constructed
- sparkling rose
- comfy bed sheets and warm cozy bed in my now lovely clean flat
- dinner out was nice
Sunday:
- Finished off cleaning the old flat and gave back the keys!
- went to stay with E1 before our holiday
Yesterday:
- finished my book on the plane and it had a happy ending :)
- ITALYYYYYYY
- getting on well with the group I'm on holiday with
- dealt with mentalz appropriately and as a result feel able to enjoy today
Good night last night, Deadpool is hilarious
New haircut, walked in without booking and she was free 10 minutes later :)
My room is cleaner & more hospitable and feels able to host people now which is hasn't felt for months!
Spent some time productively in the uni library

Was supportive to friends
Chicken and potatoes (which is my favourite dish) and Orphan Black.
People told me my skin looked radiant which went some way to addressing my hang ups over it.

Adorable gay happenings on Wentworth tonight that made me wanna squee.
I finished a really great book.
Got a new tongue bar after I swallowed one during the night.
Made plans to see my dad on Friday.
Had a good laugh with my housemates today.

But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
- finished a different book and it had a happy ending and was also super-inspiring
- I consider patches of sunburn to be a genuine improvement to my legs (which I am not fond of!)
- swimming in the pool :)
- didn't waste the whole day being a crank
- E1 relayed various compliments that people have said about me, which are quite unbelievable but I don't think she's lying. Weird but nice.
- I found peach juice exactly like the stuff I used to love but have haven't been able to find for years
- wifi means I can watch mock the week and browse the web when everyone is asleep or I need to sit something out in the safety cupboard
Not to hijack my own thread with my leg woe, but they are even more unpleasant than usual with all the bruises, scratches and rashes that just appear out of flipping nowhere
From moving house? They'll heal love don't worry. Do you have steriod cream for the rashes? Maybe find a pharmacy?

Today =
- Rat cuddles and they groomed me
- Ordered the rats a different cage after the one I originally ordered arrived broken. Hoping to get a refund for that one soon.
- IKEA furniture ordered. And some nice bits and bobs too
- Having laser eye surgery next week - EEK
- Flat is still clean and tidy
- my uncle is better after his health scare
Made garlic & cheese pitta breadsticks for dinner and had them with hummus and it was the most satisfyingly delicious thing I've eaten for a while.
Dyed my hair so it's now raspberry pink again rather than copper and I feel more like me again.
Seeing my daddy tomorrow.
