English and art
English because I've always been naturally good at it so I didn't have to try too hard
And art because I used to be very creative and I enjoyed creating stuff!
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
At first it was English because I like reading and I was good at writing at that point. Then it was Computing but that might just have been because I really liked the teachers and they did a lot for me when my Mum died. Now I know next to nothing about computers!
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.
Drama, I weren't particularly good at it, but it was the one lesson where I could see my progress in confidence by the end of it. Especially by the end of the year, the teacher made us all a little booklet which included pictures, the start of year 10, I sat awkwardly at the corner barely looking at the camera, the last picture taken I'm directly in the front, smiling at the camera.
Maths and chemistry because i was good at them.. like really good. chem teacher threw me out the class once because id done the set exercise and the next one with half an hour to spare
You have to do everything you can. You have to work your hardest. And if you do, if you stay positive, then you have a shot at a silver lining
'Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life'
“Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’”
Biology and Math! Loathed them in high school but I was fortunate enough to have incredibly supportive tutors in college who pushed me to do my best and never gave up on me regardless of my dismal grades
