Crafts! Cross stitch, knitting, card making, candle making, jewellery making. (I'm a bit of an old lady :P)
"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."
I used to make cards though it can get expensive initially buying the blank cards and envelopes, stamps and ink pads, ribbons and various coloured card and paper etc, glitter, stickers.
At the moment I am getting back into blogging, also I play my clarinet. If you wanted to learn an instrument I think the guitar is fairly easy to teach yourself. My brother taught himself from youtube videos, and looking online at the chords. You can get an acoustic guitar pretty cheaply, or second hand.
And the usual listening to music, reading books, going online, going for walks, taking photos, baking cakes.
Isnt it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different
you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.
Draw, paint, play cello, build lego, read, baking, scrapbooking, making birthday cards, repainting old furniture, nfixing them up etc. Erm... I probably have more, i alwyas come up with new stuff to be obsessed about :p
Added: taking pictures, playing on my psvita and nintendo, growing vegetables and flowers on my balcony..
Den fuldkomne kζrlighed,
Kan ikke eksistere blandt ufuldkomne
I like photography and those Minicraft Soft Animal Kits where you 'sew' together pieces of fabric and stuff it and make teddies. It's fun!
There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
I love crafts too. Knitting is great as you can make lovely things to wear and for your home and as presents. Also I like crochet and sewing and jewellery making. I taught myself a lot of it from books but youtube has some good tutorials. It gives me a real sense of accomplishment when I have made something I love.
I love drawing. I used to do life drawing courses, complete with the naked models who have to uncomfortably hold poses for 20-30 minutes while a bunch of strangers stare them down. But I haven't bothered to go in years, now I just sit at home trying to work on my ratios and shading using photos.
well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.
But I also like to collect coins and invest in them. I buy coins direct from the Royal Mint and hold onto them for at least a year and then sell them. They have limited amounts in stock so once hey are sold out the price will begin to rise. As a little extra, I also hold onto any change I get that has a commerative value.
If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do, what I'm about to do today?
Just the usual, internet, reading, dvds (tv shows and movies), music, I've just gotten back into writing again, not much else really, I'm quite boring. I do tend to obsess over a certain German band a lot too. I'm trying to read more than go online, I've my goodreads book challenge. And yeah, that's about it at home. I did used to mind my cat but he died, I still mind my niece and nephews sometimes. Can't think what else really, I collect some stuff, like bulldog stuff for example.

Reason: to fix grammar, in the sentance about writing again, ironically
