hello i thought i would ask the lovely ppl of ryl if they could help me with this little issue since you are cleverer than me

I have a new netbook, which is great but the time on the system keeps changing and won't stay as i set it, is this a problem where i need to hit someone?

Possible. Perhaps setting a password and locking your netbook whenever your not with it. (Windows Key + L)

hmm no its not that, i was thinking more the people who sold it to me, seems to have stayed right today

How old is it? perhaps the motherboard battery needs replacing.
