Lots of threads marked triggering

I have noticed a lot of threads marked triggering for various things. I know it's been discussed before and it's generally thought that the current contains x is adequate for now but should people report threads which contains trigger warnings?

They can but they don't have to.
The mods will remove trigger warnings if you report them, but it's not rule breaking so the removal is the only consequence.

Thanks.

I have reported a thread for containing trigger warnings and it's still there so I am wondering if I have done the right thing. Hopefully a mod can clear it up.

It can take a bit for the mods to act on a report, they usually PM you and explain why they didn't act on a post report if they find it needs no mod action.

It was changed a while ago but since its not hurting anyone having trigger warnings wouldn't report them.

We will remove trigger warnings in titles as that was where the discussion was made and we have thread labels.

If someone adds a trigger warning in the post we don't tend to remove it.
