My dump/tip is like you drive round in a circle and the different places for different things are labeled so you get out your car if you have something to put in those places and then carry on round the circle until your rubbish is gone and then you'll be at the end to leave the place. It's like a one way circle.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

I'm late to this party.

But it's the dump.

And I also don't own an iron.

And I'm conflicted on the tea/dinner things if that's what it's referring to.

I was raised in the north where it was 'Breakfast, Dinner, Tea'. But now I reside in the south where it's 'Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner'.

I tend to go with whatever the person I'm talking to uses.

(But in the Southern school I worked in, the lunch staff were sometimes referred to as 'dinner ladies' even though we really shouldn't say that)

Our tip is now closed until June (it's called the 'tidy tip' so that's my contribution)
All the ones in the county are closing one at a time for maintenance.
This was planned and well advertised. All the others are still open.
People are still mad about it.
And there was a huge rush on the last day it was open

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

If it's anything like mine, it'll be potholes, road works, stolen bikes and a million lost cat posts!
Used to be a lot about train issues but the issues got so frequent, that there is a separate group for that now XD

Oh my days that’s amazing that they made a separate group!! Are you in it?
I researched and actually had to go back a bit for whining! There was a repeated lost dog post to scroll past and also a ‘who do these horses we just found belong to’ and then I reached a nice moan about the car park for a pub that is now closed having a big bush in it

No other sadness in the world would do

I am indeed!
It blew up today as there was a signal blackout at Stevenage (where ALL the trains go through) at peak commuter time this morning. Many posts from people on the stuck trains, in london trying to get back, on the platform, people recommending long winded ways to get to london....someone had to get to croydon for a 10am University exam and she was having a complete breakdown. Don't worry though, she can do the exam in july instead.

I actually had to go the long way to the GP because the bridge was packed full of commuters and I was NOT pushing through that!

Oh yes, we get 'who do the sheep by sainsburys belong to' or the cows have crossed the river into someone's garden again...

I love the complete non dramatic drama in these groups

My community group posted a massive rant about people leaving full dog poo bags tied to tree branches.

Something about them being terrible Christmas decorations :P

Hahaha!
I really don't understand why people do it though!
You've done the hardest part which is putting it in the bag, and putting it in a bin is EASIER than tying it to a tree!!!
I just....

Aesthetic?

Here we get a lot of complaints about strangers leaving dog poop bags in their bins, like on the day they get set out for pickup. It's so weird to me how petty humans are about it.

Possibly!

That's weird! A bin is a bin!
Someone put some in my recycling bin before, I was annoyed about that. They did it quite a few times. It's obviously a recycling bin and the general waste bin is RIGHT NEXT TO IT!!!
But they stopped after my neighbour moved in and started her one woman neighbourhood watch XD

Around here people leave the dog poo bags in trees purely to protest that there isn't a bin every 2 metres. Or they leave them on the verges OR they don't pick them up at all and then one of my colleagues comes along strimming the long grass and gets a face full of *****.
