Not all mania is euphoric. We all have different warning signs but you have listed a few of my warning signs of high mood. Thoughts being fast and things being bright and vivid. Not eating or sleeping.

Whatever it is, it sounds like things are a little off at the moment. Do you think you could contact some one about it before it escalates?

Did you call the duty worker in the end? Remember that why they are there.

Also, just fpr clarity as I may have just missunderstood why does schizoaffective mean it illness and bipolar means its real? As both can present with psychosis?

Did you ask the psychiatrist why he changed your diagnosis and why he feel bipolar is a better fit? Did he give a reason?

I dont think it matters both are awful. However, the difference has affected you so I feel its important you are clear why.

She said I didn't experience psychosis. That I have bipolar because I just have mood episodes.
