It's short for Dialectical behavior therapy. As far as I am aware it's used for eating issues a lot. I'd say the focus of it is to replace destructive behaviors with heathy coping mechanisms. I know there are books, exercises and CDs that are sold so you can do it at home yourself.
I don't like all elements of DBT, but if you have a look at it you could pick a few things that you might find helpful.
