It's horrible to feel alone, but you're not Jo. There are sexual abuse survivors out there who have felt/are feeling alone, struggling with memories, flashbacks. We shouldn't have been hurt but we're not alone, there are others.
Is there anyway you can try and process the memories, maybe writing or drawing or something?

was pathetic just cos they said that men who admit they r*ped a woman will get a lesser charge and it sucks
like they can boast that they did it and get off with liutttle time when they get so little anyway
all they get is a couple of years and then they are free whereas the victims are left with it for the rest of their lives

It's unfair that they get lesser time just because they admit to doing it, totally unfair. But then when I thought to myself "that's not a fair punishment" my next thought was "what would be a better punishment?" and I wasn't really sure how to answer that. Do you have any thoughts on what would be more fitting? You don't have to answer if you feel I'm going off topic.
We do have to live with it for the rest of our lives, nothing will make it go away, nothing will undo it or erase it. But that doesn't mean you can't have a happy life too. It's not a case of, you can have a happy life, or you can live as a survivor, you can do both. You can have experienced some terrible things but you can be happy, and healthy and fulfilled. Really I think there's no better revenge, for anyone who has hurt you, to recover and become healthy. It's like saying to them you can't keep me down, you might have hurt me but you can't keep hurting me, I can get better and recover.
