I have nothing against Starbucks really. It is actually cheaper and nicer than most of the coffee shops I pass. I really don't care about it's un/ethical policies, at all. I don't have a favourite drink though.

Oh my god, how can you people choke down the junk that Starbucks try to pass off as coffee? As Heidi has already said, they're hardly the best company to give money to but if you look at them surely for quality of their drinks it's.. well.. horrific. Too milky, too hot, too cold, re-steaming milk, using old cold foam, pouring pathetic shots. God, honestly, I've never had a nice drink from Starbucks, they need to learn HOW to make a proper coffee, well made, smooth and silky. God, I hate how people think they're amazing. More people are now coming back to small business cafes because they know there's a chance they'll have a GOOD coffee and at a decent price atleast. I hate seeing people make bad coffee, especially when they have the cheek to call themselves a barista, you need skill and knowledge to be a proper barista, dammit >_<
The strawberry thingy... that doesn't even taste like coffee it's more like cream savers haha ya I don't remember the name of it but I agree... Starbucks is overpriced

Exactly right. A frappachino. A lovely caramel frappachino is the very best thing to take the edge off a hot day.
Basically all my starbucks orders are caramel based.

i don't know... i don't think everything they do is bad. there's problems with all corporations, but i used to work there and they gave us good health insurance options, 401k, and so forth just for part-time work. it was a very positive environment too. managers were very understanding. and you never had to pick up extra shifts unless you wanted to. and we always got our breaks/lunches. the computer would actually yell at us if we tried to sign out without a lunch. not to mention they trained us for a full two weeks and paid us for everything related to work we did. we also never asked for tips... it was nice, but we never asked anyone for it. i've also noticed that the franchise starbucks are not as good as the corporate ones. we'd always remake your drink if it wasn't right as well.
anyway...
my favorite is the iced vanilla chai... if i could afford it. lol
