I'm lost again
I don't know where to begin
Life is convoluted again.
I'm sickened again
Hanging on by a thread.
I'm being smothered by
The thoughts of you.
Images of you in my head
Taking me back to another world.
A world that repulses me.
The thought, the sight, the smell.
I need to release you.
I never should have said it.
You can just forget it.
Bathe yourself in your lies.
I will never see it coming.
I am just the pawn; play me how you want.
This is a sick game we play
And you're the master of it all.
They're both untitled. Product of a short writing exercise to purge some feelings about being abused.
