I'm not seeing that f***head. End of. I rarely hold a feeling of hatred against someone, but this ass has made me hate him. I'd prefer to chop off certain body parts than ever see that d***head again
Do I have no choice about what gp I see?
Maybe I should call him and tell him to get f***ed? And that he is no longer my gp.
If no I guess I can't get any tests cos I refuse to have anything to do with him
If yes I may consider it. Preferably without my past ed service referral popping up. Or the right to tell them to stuff the referral up their arse?
No, you can see any GP you like. My university health centre is quite big, so I just see whoever has a free appointment soonest.
"Stuff the referral up their arse" isn't the phrase I use; I personally say I don't find talking about the past helpful, and that is that, they never push it any further (provided you are clear).
It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

I'd prefer the gp not to be so 'close to home' a few miles maybe? (Preferably a hundred or more)

Yes you have to see a GP in your catchment area, so your university will have a list of surgeries you can register with. But out of those surgeries you can see any doctor you like.
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.
And yes you need to tell them your address. It's unavoidable.

Out. Of. The. Question.
I trusted the damn fools once and it got me a referral to the mh services
I trusted them twice more and it just ended up with me wasting time.
They have lost my trust when they pressured me, pretty much forced me into a mh service referral. And they won't ever get it back. I'm a trusting guy. UNTIL someone proves me they don't deserve my trust, then they NEVER get it back

F*** the useless UK system. I'm done with it. Any trouble from them cos of this overdose (what's this about the doctors at the hospital not believing my story anyway?) Then I will fight to get away from them. Physically if they force me to
Also I think a neuro referral is not something they routinely do. They'll most likely want to do other tests first like blood tests to rule out other conditions. They wont do brain scans, EEGs etc straight away. It's why it's important to be honest about everything so they don't miss things that explain your symptoms.
Why don't you want to give them your address? They wont exactly turn up on your doorstep. The NHS is too over stretched to find people that don't see their doctors regularly.

Simple. They do not deserve my trust and never will get it back. That's why.
They're pieces of s*** who don't deserve the Trust that I'd have to have in them to give them that information
I can see what you mean, some doctors screw you around and it's hard to trust them if they are going to refer to a psych team. I was reluctant to give them any personal information (and they have used it against me) so I know where you're coming from
