sorry- outpatient=once a week therapy, psychiatrist, nutritionist once in awhile
intensive outpatient= 3x a week groups/indiv therapy once a week, etc.
and yeahh am going to just outpatient

You're not stupid. You'd be stupid if you didn't know and didn't ask. Insurance is often paid for by employers. Some money is taken out of the employee's pay to pay for his/her health insurance and that of their immediate family members. People who are very low income get Medicaid, a government funded healthcare which pays for a bare minimum. The same goes for old people who get Medicare, which is only slightly better than Medicaid, but better than nothing. Many Americans do not have health insurance, or due to the bad economy have health insurance that does not pay for everything they need.

oh. i jus know tha if adopted thenn get it for free n think government pats for it. some places dont accept it even in iowa. then the kids who adopted get it till certsin age for freee in twentied age if on meds for health.

i get insurance through my parents job, so it only covers some.
and also i tried to apply for SSI [supplemental insurance] just for meds and stuff so can try to be more independent, but since family has too much money for SSI i cant get it. bah. just on the cusp of money. i myself have no money cuz cant find a job but *shrug*
