You've hit it there - I HATE that soooo so much!!!!!!

I try and resist but i usually end up scrating it anyway - so long as the cut isn't to bad.
I don't really now how to avoid it, mabye bandage it uptight, or put cold cream/water around/on it and then bandage it.

Should help

:D:D

Good luck!!

I hate this too but I have found sudacrem is good because it stops the itch and also helps wounds heal quicker!

I hate it! And I never think about it when I cut, so it always pisses me off when it starts healing and being itchy.. And then it HURTS after a while. THAT'S the worst! The shooting pains. UGH.

Yeah, it really annoys me too. At the moment I have that problem, along with the fact that I accidentally cut myself on a shelf when it fell on top of me and reopened one of the cuts but only in the middle. So the edges are itchy and the middle is still like an open cut. And it's so annoying.

I rather enjoy the itching of a healing wound gives you an excuse to scratch and reopen the wound

I hear you, so frustrating!
Have you tried eurax cream? I'm not sure if it's okay to use on an open wound, but it's definitely okay to use once the skin has healed over a little bit, will stop you from itching for about six hours.
*hug*
Be gentle with yourself,
