General Medical Question - Non Urgent - Odd collection of symptoms

So for the last maybe 5-7 days I've had some symptoms that seem a bit odd together. When I'm hungry I feel really sick and get pains in my tummy which are only helped by food or an antacid. However once I've eaten I'm on the toilet within about 30 minutes and then again every half an hour or so for 2/4 hours afterwards with a very upset tummy. In addition I keep getting hot flashes and clammy cold sweats and I'm aching and going from freezing to sweating. They don't make sense as symptoms together though!

As a side which I think is unrelated I've recently been getting lots of headaches and a couple of migraines and my stomach above where I had my c-section feels very bruised and tender which I think is the nerves healing.

I've tried interwebs but it keeps telling me I either have stomach or Colon cancer which isn't massively helpful.

If I go to the doctors it'll be next week before I can get an appt now so it would help to know what to do for the next 4/5 days as my stomach (and other areas are killing me!).

Hey. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but could it be stress? My stomach is always really bad when I'm anxious. (it's probably a stupid question, but it's always worth ruling out things).

Google is bad; it always gives you the worst-case-scenario option, and things are rarely as bad as it seems. Is there a walk in centre or minor injuries place near you you could try? It sounds like the stomach thing is really bad.

How long ago was your c-section?

Take care, and I hope you feel better soon.

Stop looking at those websites girly! Try not to self diagnose and freak yourself out. It sounds like you might benefit from seeing a GI specialist. All the symptoms may not be related, but the stomach ones and hot and cold flashes may be a gastro issue going on.

A year ago (ish) I was experiencing a lot of stomach issues, chills, night sweats, and 'bathroom issues,' it got pretty serious and I was hospitalized and was told that I was having symptoms of ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease. Luckily it ended up just being an infectious colitis that antibiotics and some stomach medications helped.

Do you have a temperature? Maybe you are coming down with the flu or a stomach bug. If you have a fever that could very well explain the achiness and hot/cold flashes.

I'd definitely give your doctor a ring...and stop looking at those websites! I'm guilty of the same thing, and basically any symptom you have will come up with all these diagnoses, and the last ones tend to be cancer. So, really don't get yourself too worked up. Try to relax and make a list of all your symptoms and read them off to your doctor so they can order some different tests and try to get to the bottom of it.

While you are waiting for your doctor's appointment I'd just really reccommend resting your mind and body. Also maybe keep track of different things, such as when your symptoms are the worst, if there are any foods or drinks that tend to trigger symptoms, and record how often and the appearance of bowel movements. If you at any point see blood in your stools, you should really go to the emergency room.

Good luck!

Those websites are awful , like other said go see your GP when you can to ease your mind.

Thank you all. Well as I'd predicted after posting this my symptoms have started to ease. Still on toilet a fair bit but the rest is easing off so I'm hoping I'm getting better from whatever it was.

Thank you all though.
