If you can't cut ya ties, then spend as much time as possible without them. I love my parents, but they are very toxic people, especially my mother. She is self involved on a level where she doesnt realise she constantly puts me down. I still have to live at home, no choice till my son starts school.
It does hurt. But I've got to the stage where I know the truth would hurt her more. So I just stew in anger lol.
