Yeah I agree its a piss take..which makes it even more hurtful, I find it hurtful anyway...they might aswell jsut amke an advertisement and take the piss about anorexia!
Im in a touchy mood though.
I think when something is ruining your life you're allowed to be touchy. xx

Allie, Mutt, Great Grandma, Hope and Humbug. I love you and miss you all. xx
ive seen a "Mia" outfit that was a top with fake sick on.
and i dont want this question to seem aggressive, as i often sound aggressive, but what is it that you thinks glamourising about it? it's only coz i cant see it, i just see the piss being taken, which is more of an issue.

It's just that people do it with everything. I think if people who wore it were reducing the seriousness of eating disorders like Anorexia Nervosa then it'd be a problem, but I don't think that much thought has gone into it.
It's like that t-shirt that says "You're just jealous because the little voices talk to me". I hear voices. I could say it's taking the piss outta psychosis... but man, I wish I had a t-shirt like that.
its okay, i have that t shirt and i hear voices XD and i know a schizophrenic guy, and he's jealous that i have the t shirt because he doesnt know where to buy it XD
no i didnt call myself schizophrenic. im not. XD i just hear voices. nice ones, horrible ones and ones that sometimes sing. XD

so whos being invisamababale on this thread?
could it be a mod?
oh gosh.
anyway, sammi, the costume isn't a personal attack on you. or people opinions about said costume.
everything in the world is mocked.
its like the internet porn theory
"If there isn't porn about it, it doesn't exist"
And climb high to the highest rung, to shake fists at the sky.
I don't exactly agree with it but then everything gets joked about nowadays.
"I'm going to go and slit my wrists" sort of scenario, that can be quite hurtful.
I dislike the name, but it did get attention so was probably a good advertising move there.
I just have a problem with the fact everything has to be so skimpy- like has already been mentioned on this thread.
yeah, totally agree. everything is taken lightly these days, like "awww, dont kill yourself, lol" etc. and the costumes are getting skimpier! tried to find a princess peach dress for halloween, all i could find were incredibly short "Sexy Peach" costumes. her dress is floor length! >.<

They named it that for a reason. The POINT of it is to piss people off. You are acting like they want you to. The more people bitch and complain about it the more people will hear about it. (see the Streisand Effect)
Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"
