Sorry I can't add anything wholesome, though I'm genuinely proud of everyones achievements.

This weeks things for me are:

- Being invited to get coffee with a colleague despite it being their day off.
- Friendship. Genuinely.
- Finding the courage to stand up for myself despite it slightly backfiring.
- Being trusted enough that people feel able to come to me for support.
- Recognising that stress from work is a sign that I am good at my job. Maybe that's why I'm given so much to do.

I was away from my laptop for a few days, but shall message some poetry to interested people. :)

pixiedust (do you use your name on here???), I think those are amazing positives to have. :)

Last few days (highlight reel, probably forgot half of the things already because there were so many amazing moments):

- all the anecdotes that were told and created
- plenty of little things that showed how caring, kind and all around amazing my friends are
- all the pretty windows in the cathedral :heart eyes:
- getting to make my friends laugh and them making me laugh until I literally cried
- Jenna's mum's amazing brownies!
- getting a few days of not working on or worrying about my dissertation or job search and it being legit ok/not destructive to do so :)
- getting home okay and just chilling with the Simpsons and my face mask

- finally managing to get more than just a few hours of sleep!
- cute doggo pictures <3
- watching some Simpsons
- M having to cancel the Skype (not that I didn't want to talk to her, just enjoying the time and energy it freed up in my day!)

Last few day has been spent seeing in the end of the summer holidays with wonderful people and having a jolly excellent time, including:
- treasure trail
- setting a smoke alarm off in the middle of the night at a central city train station
- my mother's excellent brownies
- cathedral
- Kiran and I doing a full performance of James Acaster's version of the Kettering Town FC song
- receiving a very poor trip advisor rating on account of the above
- being the world's biggest drama queen about having to drive in a city I hate
- arranging an appointment with my very reluctant hairdresser (K!)
- trying the vegan chocolate slice thingy from Costa
- my mother making an outstanding vegan chocolate mousse and redeeming herself after #bananaicecreamcheesecakegate
- doing my favourite walk with one of my favourite people

- saw L even when I overslept
- got back home quicker than I had ever had because for once I did not miss my bus by Not Looking
- had a shower instead of a mental breakdown
- made *some* progress with editing my dissertation
- did NOT let that b*tch from studiosity gaslight me into believing that I can't English (at least not for a long time)

- got out of bed in time for a leisurely breakfast before work
- no one had done obnoxious parking so I was able to exit my drive without a Big Hassle
