Hi everyone,
need some ideas.
My mum is due to take my 92 year old grandma on a cruise on the Rhine today but where is her passport?!
they were due to fly out at 8.30 this morning. we've been hunting for this passport since yesterday evening. Its normally with my dad's passport so didn't even think about looing for it. I've left them at home and have gone to work but desperately trying to think about where it could be.
My mother's not too concerned about her missing it, but with my Grandma being 92 its such a shame for her to miss out.
So what I want guys, is ideas. As the title says, Where would you hide?!
Thanks

Changes can come from many, but only when the many come together to form what is invincible, the power of one.
If it's not in the places you'd expect it to be, try everywhere else. i.e Clothes drawers, bedside tables, on top of piano's/cabinets, under the bed, book shelves. Etc etc.
under piles of paper like bills etc.check bags and pockets. i found mine in a briefcase from a job interview lol.xx
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
Maybe she left it in her suitcase. Try ALL handbags. Drawers, cupboards, amongst any bills, pages, household crap. Maybe it's fallen inbetween pages or something, so have a good thorough hoke. Best of luck!
Thnaks for all your replies, its given me a limore inspiration into places to have a look. We were looking for it til 2.30 this morning!!! and they've been lookin for since they got up this morning.
I feel really sorry for my Grandma coz she's not been a way for quite some time, thinks she's pretending not to be disappointed, but you can tell she is.
The ironic things is is that she's not been very well lately, about 3 weeks ago her leg swelled up and had DVT, thats gone down now and although she shouldn't fly, she's a stubborn person so if you tell her not to she will go out of her wqay to do it anyway because "no one can tell me what I can and cannot do!"
Maybe its a sign?
I think they've given up and accepted it, but I will have a go at your suggestions when I get home.
Thanks again guys

I lost mine about two weeks before i had to go away...was a crisis. Looked in where i thought it was which is the drawer by my bed with all important documents, couldn't find it. So looked in my bags that i last took away with me, through my books, on shelves, even under the bed. And it turned up in that first drawer, right at the back, nestled between the back of the drawer and a bank statement..( i dont read bank statements so dont know why it was there)!
Hi everyone,
thanks for all your replies.
Unfortunately we didn't find her passport so they haven't gone, however I thionk maybe it was a blessing in disguise coz when they finally decided to give up, Grandma announces that her leg was really bad- hot, red and swollen. It turns out she has an infection in her leg and shouldn't have flown anyway. (Bless her, she so desperately wanted to go on holiday)
Anyway they are going to claim on the insurance as she has a note from the doctors stating that she wasn't fit to go.
As for the passport, maybe she threw it away (she can be a bit dizzy like that sometimes).
Thanks again tho for all your ideas.
