Hey everyone, I've been really down and negative so I am stopping and putting together a list of my achievements as a reality check!
- Escaped 21 years of abuse and control
- Learnt to talk about my experiences and ask for help
- Not self harmed for 5 months!
- Have my own flat and car
- Live independently
- Attending University
- Work one day a week
- Connected with my Grandmother
- Made some acquaintances and first ever friend!
- Connected with great psychiatrist and working through stuff
just to name a few... I don't feel it at the moment but I know I am doing well and heading in the right direction.
