I just took the first step
Today I did the hardest thing I've ever had to do, I got rid of my one and only razor. Now because of me not having a license or any money I can't buy anymore. The places where I can buy them are too far to walk and if my mom were to drive me there she would probably go in with me and that wouldn't go over well....But you know what? I'm glad. I'm tired of this stupid habit ruining my life and hurting those around me. I realized that the bad things I dwell on that make me want to hurt myself just makes my depression worse in the long run. Before I've said I was going to quit, but have failed and given up several times. This time is different, I'm determined and positive to change my life.
I just thought I should share that. Next time I see or talk to friends that are really concerned about me and this habit I'm going to tell them.
