Just thought I'd share my excitement.
I've been checking it everyday for years now out of habit for no real apparent reason, just sifting through the endless amount of crap band requests. Accepting some of them and realising they're ****.
Denying random friend requests, I've probably wasted large amounts of my life getting rid of all the crap it brings with it's 'alerts'.
The only person I knew properly on there was my brother as he had a band and a myspace page for it but he's since quite the band along with myspace.
I had my myspace account connected to my old bluebottle account. The problem is, to do anything I need the old email address (which I don't have!) I need access to the bluebottle account. So, I can't delete my account, change the registered email address, etc etc. It sucks, I want to delete it or at least make it worthwhile having. But alas, neither can be done. Stupid bluebottle - they gave all free account holders a week or two for us to get what we wanted out of our emails or pay a subscription to keep the account. Something I wasn't aware of until I tried logging in and realised what had happened. >.>
I remember when I had a myspaz and it took me a while to delete as I had to confirm I wanted to delete it and press 10 or so confirm buttons!
Yeah they did seem to want to make sure I was doing the right thing, I had to email confirm to then go back to myspace and confirm yet again.
They also wanted reasons, lol.
I didn't type anything. Refrained from just saying 'Because it's ****!'.
Mine's still there.
Really doesn't bother me if it's deleted or not as it's private so yus. It's sometimes just amusing to look back on all the old comments and such.
Woo faceybook.
"Be nice. Think happy thoughts. Champion silver linings. Love all things (not just cute things like babies and kittens) & when you do love - love like they do in power ballads (you know like on a cliff with the wind in your hair and your eyes shut, knowing you'll never know love like this). Watch out for dog poo. Smile at people - even grumpy ones. Remember anything is possible & whatever you do always try to look on the bright side."
Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"
