Learning GB Rail.

I want to challenge myself.

Give me a train route and I'll learn it (although not immediately as I've got revision to do - I'll add it to my list).

I am trying to learn as many routes/maps as possible.

NB: please keep the routes to England, Wales and Scotland.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

The York to Leeds line (via Harrogate) - sometimes known as the 'Harrogate line'.

I'm not sure what's being asked here. Is it just a line, and you'll memorise all the stations on that line?

Basically I've got a book with every single GB train route map in it (as well as the timetables). I learn train maps off by heart as a hobby, because I love trains. I'll memorise all the stations on the line in order. Normally I memorise the whole train map so I can draw it off by heart.

What about the steam line in Yorkshire? It's used as a proper train by locals though. Think it passes through skipton. My dad works on the railway and knows a lot about them.

I think I might know the one you mean, I've been on a steam line in Yorkshire... sure it went to Pickering.

Edit: There's the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, not sure if that was the one you were thinking of Mrs. Sam, apologies if not, I think there might be a few steam lines in Yorkshire, I know that sometimes a steam train does the Harrogate line (usually in summer I think).

I like the southport to Manchester line because there's a station called hags fold *giggle* and the next station along is daisy hill and it amuses me that there's a station with such a horrible name next to one with such a nice sounding name. Never been to either place so no idea what they are like!

Oly, I've seen you talking about learning train lines on Facebook a few times, so I was wondering if you're hoping to learn the British rail network in its entirety? If so, that would be quite an achievement.
