Hmmm I don't know then. They have said I can do any traiing if I can get on course. I'm gonna try do the overdose aid one after this.
It is gonna be long days. tue-fri 9-4.30pm. I haven't worked for a few years so I am gonna find it weird and hard. But I wanna do it, however anxious I am.

I want to kiss the bottom of the ocean before I burst through its surface into the sunlight, otherwise I will always be wondering about what was left unseen at the bottom
i'm tired of chasing my dreams.
i'm just gonna ask where they're going,
and hook up with them later.

I know we get breaks. But I haven't done anything at all in years so am nervous about managing it. I got well tired on the weekend courses!
Yeah OD aid sounds really good. Rather appropriate in our clientel (homeless people) as there has been a fair few incidents I hear of.
What is it you do most of in SJA? Training and duty wise?

Other than FAW, I haven't done training since last year. Duties & meetings are what I do the most.

I have just done my FAW and I passed! Passed with competence. Am all chuffed as my nerves were studiply high before the assessments.
But I did it.
Now I wanna do overdose aid
Spills and body fluids and sharps.
Then in few months the AED training.

I am currently not doing much, considering joining these myself.
What sort of thing is expected of you?
And is there any entry levels? eg would i still need to start right at the bottom even if i have first aid knowledge?

I'm not sure about the main lot and training. I think they would train you as you go. There is no entrance stuff.
As I'm with the homeless outreach unit it is differant we don't do the weekly meetings like the main lot do.

Time, or perhaps more specific, time to go on duties. If you join, we would like you to help us, not be awarded our certificates and then disappear.

No. Although if you're a student you should join the links division instead of a local division. It'll help though.
