GP notes.

Hi,

I've been seeing this specific GP for over a year and she's just left to go on maternity leave, although will be back towards the end of the year.

I confided in her, via letter, about something that happened in the past. She was ever so understanding and supported me through a very difficult time.

She told me she scanned the letter and put it on my notes under personality information.

I've started to see another doctor who is also very understanding. She said when I went in last week she was looking through some of my notes and understands there are a lot of different issues and it's quite complex.

I don't kno whether she knows about the past; do you think she would have seen that? It just makes me feel quite anxious!

In my experience, they tend to only flick through your notes, and not read all the attatched letters unless directed to read a specific letter, so if you want her to read it, it's worth mentioning.
