Triggering (SI) - Scars and sun

just been lying in the sun for about an hour

and i just seen scars that i thought had faded. completely

Does the sun raise up the scars?

i always thought that the sun helped to heal things, but i could be wrong
it could be to do with getting a tan, and as scar tissue is newer skin it reacts in a different way to the sunlight?

Based on yesterday, yes to a certain extent it seems to make scars appear temporarilly more visible, especially if you burn. I had a small burnt on my left wrist, and my 1 year plus scratch scars reappeared slightly, but have faded now after I applied cooling gel.

The scars are contrasted by the tanned/burnt skin, and so will appear more visible after exposure for about 6 hours or so, before fading after a while. Just put some lotion on, and maybe abit of cooling gel if you were burnt, and wait for them to fade
