All the new post it’s and rubby out pens are getting out to good use in my diary and it is helping me psychologically a lot. I feel ready to fight like I have the ability to keep the situations under control as long as I can stay calm and write things down then everything will be okay if I can just follow the plan. I don’t have enough hours in the day to follow the plan yet but I’m working on that too. Not changing time obviously, that would be super cool but I can’t do that yet. I mean I’m trying to get quicker and doing tasks that usually take me too long. Often I take a long time being indecisive or worrying, I am trying to stop that.

I'm glad that the stuff you got is helping. :) That's great, and all credit to you for giving it a go. Changing time would be cool! I can understand things taking longer because of worrying or being indecisive. It's difficult, but I'm sure your decision making skills will improve the more you feel like things are under control.
I'm working tomorrow, Tuesday and Friday. Tomorrow I'm meeting my Mum for brunch before work. :) Then going for coffee with my Uncle after work. Got my friend coming round for dinner on Wednesday evening - she's my valentine's date (well, neither of us have got an actual date and we didn't even realise that it's valentine's day when we arranged it haha.) :)

It’s half term so I’m staying with my parents and catching up with my friend today then getting my hair done tomorrow and heading back up north Wednesday morning. Jenna and I are ordering pizza and playing board games for Valentine’s Day because that’s just how we roll <3
I have quite a lot of work and life admin to catch up on between that but also need to balance rest. I can do it :)

Everyone has such nice plans. I went and saw a friend today and hung out with her kids. Then met a mum of the other half which was nice. Tomorrow I'm working and then Wednesday going to London for the night. I am crashing at my friends wed ready for an interview thurs in London. Feel bad gatecrashing her valentines mind.

It's ridiculous how quickly people forget they are grown ups and that their son's wedding maybe, maybe, *maybe* might not be about them and what *they* want. *rolls eyes*
Medium is good!
Somehow, as an adult everything you considered boring as a teen seem rather desirable. Medium mood, a 9 to 5 office job, doing the laundry on time and washing the dishes straight away. Staying in on weekends.

I mostly worry about the poor husband to be, he's not good and having emotions :P
But, we have a location and a date, we paid a huge chunk of the bill for that, I ordered my dress the other day and my sister should be done with making invites in a week or two. So it is getting super real :D
We just need to sort out a marriage license for the boy so we can get a date for the formal shenanigans at town hall. It's even looking as okay as possible money wise, I just sometimes think about ALL the things I could buy with that much money if I didn't want a fancy celebration :P
Hi Lana, good to hear from you! Glad the wedding plans are moving forward. Unfortunately in my experience weddings tend to mess with people and cause big arguments. Hopefully things will sort themselves out soon.

I'm just hoping his mum will be more sensible in a week or two as this is the first she's heard of it. I do understand that it sucks that we have to tell her she can't attend the formal ceremony, but it's not her call to make. it is not an ideal solution, but other than throwing two parties it's the best we can do to accommodate everyone involved. Conor wants both his parents there for the wedding and if his dad won't come unless his mum isn't there we're willing to arrange for that so Conor can celebrate with both parents without any major dramaz.

I guess its a shame they can’t both be there and be civil to each other, but if they can’t then they all need to accept that it’s up to you guys and not them so they should probably stop making a scene.
