Help me choose a water bottle so I don’t have a nervy b

(Will move to serious if it becomes necessary :P)

Broke my water bottle, don’t want a different water bottle but can’t get the same one from anywhere it seems.

Please send links to fun water bottles and make me buy one.

When my bottle was stuck in London I just used an oasis bottle for five months instead of buying a new one because I wanted the old one back and also one time they wouldn’t put new lenses in my old broken glasses and I didn’t want new glasses so I just had none. So this attachment to inanimate objects can be… problematic???

Other requirements is I won’t buy from amazon and needs to be 750ml +

Hmm, hadn’t thought about it! Edging towards no straw for hygiene purposes.

I have one of these (except in the 550ml size): https://neonkactus.com/product-categ...ottles-1000ml/ and have bought a coffee cup from these people as well (not for me, obviously)

Not so FUN though...

If you want fun maybe try a Sho bottle? They come in many designs but are metal (I prefer to drink water from a glass bottle than metal but that is just my preference): https://shoreusable.com/products/the...32287715557410 but I do have a small one of these for portable hot chocolate in the winter.

Okies. A good place I’ve gone for water bottles is Chillis, they are expensive (mine was £48) but it has lasted me since 2014 and you can get cheaper ones. If not, WH Smith can be a good shout for water bottles, mine has a whole section of them for back to school but they do have them all year round.

I think this should be in serious. Lack of hydration is no laughing matter.

Also2, thank you for the links, I had a look, got enthused then didn’t know which to choose and vowed to use the broken one for the rest of time

But stuff like what material it was could be helpful! Glass metal and plastic all feel very different.
I understand the sulk though.

I think you should chose a rainbow bottle if anywhere does one as then it's all the colours.

I know this pain - I take months to decide things sometimes especially when it is a the type of thing that supposedly isn't a big deal but is a big deal. If the old bottle is still useable then there's no need to make an immediate decision. Bookmark the links for now and come back to it again another time!

if you can find the old one, even if more expensive, it might be worth paying for too? we do that sometimes. we pay more to get the same thing even if it is harder to find. because it is worth it.

So much wise advice, thank you muchly. Camden, I don't think I can get it anywhere, I did check and would totally have paid extra.

I told K about this thread and how rude I was rejecting everyone's nice advice and they rolled their eyes at me and told me that they would sort the bottle for me. I went in a big huff when I said it wouldn't be right and then they correctly described the features I would desire including some I hadn't even thought about but that were totally true. It's going to be plain and I can put stickers on which they're also going to order but I might order some myself as they surely won't know which Salad Fingers one to get. Also I grumbled that I wanted one sticker exactly the same as the one on my old bottle that says "all bodies are good bodies" and they said yes they'd already factored that in :P So I think it might be OK, even though I lose independence points for not sorting it myself!

For Salad Fingers enthusiasts, this is the suggested bottle that Lio sent me, after first being rude to me about my behaviour in this thread of course :P https://www.cafepress.co.uk/+lets_se...l, 1267316914

Wow. K knows you better than you do. I love that you went in a big huff and then had a nice surprise. I hope it's the best bottle ever.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

You didn't come this far just to come this far.

Well actually the huff was because they described it right and I wasn't ready to exit tragic mode and have the problem fixed for me :P

Sometimes it takes the agonising away if someone else just does it for you and often they will get it right AND you'll like it because they picked it for you and that helps the weird "this is not my old bottle" feeling pass quicker. I don't think you lose independence points at all - you gain points for having the right person in your life to sort this mess out for you!

Also, I know this is not my drama thread but please can I have some congratulations for clicking that link. Thank you.

That's super kind and thoughtful that they knew your requirements so well! But yes does ruin the having a woe about it part.
