Pregnancy & relapse. help?

Hellooo.

I am stuck in a rut, I'm currently 27wks pregnant & my dumbass brain cell is trying to come up with every single possible way to relapse "safely" ... i "only" have EDNOS diagnosed so not under anyone care wise & I have no clue what to do/where to go. I'm under a specialist mental health midwife who I see on Tuesday. Is it worth speaking to her about everything? GP? I'm at a loss

Thanks

I think it's 100% worth speaking to both your midwife and GP to help you get some support. <3

Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.

You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.

Hey,

Firsly yes 100% talk to your midwife about it or your GP. I was similar during my pregnancy, without going into too much detail, I felt very much the same. I did speak to my CMHT and perinatal team and they supported me with the rest of my pregnancy and I managed to stay stable for the duration.

Hope it goes OK.

Your specialist midwife can absolutely refer you to the perinatal mental health team. I’m not sure where you live but the majority of areas in the UK now have them. It is not unusual for pregnancy to trigger mental health symptoms. The specialist midwives usually attend the weekly MDT meeting for the perinatal mental health team. If you have any questions about perinatal MH support feel free to PM me
