What about utilising the first half of your name so fran or franny?
When we lose twenty pounds... we may be losing the twenty best pounds we have! We may be losing the pounds that contain our genius, our humanity, our love and honesty. ~Woody Allen

Go by whatever your unabbreviated/unnicknamed name is for a while i.e. full name, and see what nicknames people come up with that you like and sound like they fit you.
If you find someone starts calling you one of these and it makes you cringe, or just is weird to respond to, it's going to be harder to change it once you've decided on something. Whereas you come across a nickname and find it fits, it's easier to shorten or swamp from your full name.
I agree with this as a person who has accumulated a fair number of names over the year

If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

You might actually find you like your full name better than you think, or someone might come up with something you would not have thought of yourself.
That all reminds me of "trail names". The Appalachian Trail (2,200 miles/3500 km) is a popular trail that is close to me. Most hikers on the AT are given a trail name at some point and many stop using their given names). Kind of like avatars lol

Trail names are interesting in that you can't give one to yourself and they normally come from something stupid or silly you do

Sounds like you have a trail name? Not that you have to post it lol.
