Quick Question, Medicine Cabinet.
So soon I need to get to the chemist and buy some supplies to keep myself safe. What are the essential things for cuts that you keep in your medicine cabinet?
Thanks.

Gauze, bandaids (including butterfly bandaids), neosporin, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol...and i think that's about it

I want to stay in love with my sorrow.
Oh, but God, I want to let it go.
If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, you can find out first-hand what it's like to be me.
You'll need a symphony to give sympathy to the girl with the worst luck in town.
When I care, it curls me up on the floor and I swear I can't do it anymore.

NO HYDROGEN PEROXIDE!!! It should NEVER be used on wounds!
Gauze, wound wash, non stick gauze, ace wrap or tubi grip, assorted band aids, and antibiotic cream should be about everything you need.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

AD, why no hydrogen peroxide? Doesn't it act as an antiseptic when it's very dilute?

The world is an interesting place when everyone you know has their own realities
Our scars remind us that the past is real

The problem with HP is that not only does it bubble and eat away and the bad bacteria , it is also eating away good tissue. So you are actually doing more harm that good. And since good tissue is eaten away it takes for the cut heal. Because it takes longer to heal, there is an increased risk for infection because it is open for a longer amount of time.
My recommendations:
4x4 gauze pads and tape
Gauze rolls
Alcohol wipes
Band-Aids
Butterfly closures
Anti-bacterial cream
Some kind of tourniquet *for Extreme emergencies only*
Also if you burn:
Some burn gel
Saline solution
After The fact:
Neosporin has some goon scar cream and bandages
I know I’m forgetting some things

i don't suggest a tourniquet at all, if you have an injury that severe it needs to get advanced medical treatment right away.
Scott hit the nail on the head with the HP, it kills more good cells then bad cells and will cause longer healing time and more scaring.
