This is long and i've had to take out some details using 'x'

The following content has been hidden - Reason : It's long..

Dear all,

Transport booked so far
1 CWU
1 PCS (Banbury)
... 2 County Unison
1 City Unison
2 Unison Health
3 Unite (Banbury, Oxford, Milton Keynes)

Other unions in the process of discussing booking transport: Trades Council, NUT, CWU Education, Prospect
Unions still to approach: RMT, FBU, Brookes Unison, Ridgeway Unison

Filling coaches
50 seats have been booked via OACA (online and by phone). In addition to this there are pockets of members telling their union branches/reps they want to go. There has been a noticeable increase in the number of bookings in the last week. The main concern we have at the moment is that there will be a deluge of people who wish to go closer to the date in excess of the transport we have booked so far. The committee agreed that while unions are leading this many unemployed, and family and friends of disabled people angry at cuts will also want to go and that we would encourage unions as far as possible to provide transport for these people.

Workplace leafleting: In some branches union reps have arranged with members to turn up for work 15 minutes early in order to leaflet
the workforce going in. This worked well around Nov 30 and helped build strike action, fill coaches coming in for the Oxford march and recruit non members to the union.
Regular Street stalls: see attached OACA activity plan for September.

Publicity
stickers - Available
A5 flyers - Available
A4/A3 posters - to follow
OACA are working with unions to organise stalls and workplace leafleting see attached activity plan for September.
We have recieved donations from Unison Health and OACA. This paid for 15,000 leaflets, 500 posters and stickers. In order to produce more publicity which we will need in coming weeks we urgently need donations from union branches, particularly those who have received bundles of leaflets. A2 posters are also available funded by ODTUC.

Public Meeting
xxxxxxx - Oxford Town Hall
invited speakers: xxxxxxx PCS NEC, xxxxx Independent columnist and author of Chavs, xxxxxxxx Oxfordshire NUT, xxxxxxxx local author

Next planning meeting:
xxxxxx Unison Office, Town Hall.

I've just ordered SOME whistles (not many as I lack funds) so if you see me around (I'll be wearing a Unite The Union high vis vest) please do pop over and if I have any left i'll hand them out, that is if anyone is interested :)

See you there!

Mike.
