'You can get the details of the regional office from the Unite website. But you'll need to be quick - the beauracracy can be quite slow - not from any lack of support, just cos it is slow.
And bear in mind that the normal response will be to simply circulate details around branches. If the branch doesn't meet in the next week, they'll not find out.
It also depends on your role in UK Uncut - if you're just a Unite member who is supportive of UK Uncut, you'll not get the same hearing as someone who is some kind of spokesperson for UK Uncut.
Bottom line though - if you want Unite to do something to support an event (and there's no reason why we wouldn't), you need to give more notice than a week.'
