Morning lr. I might be going to O today because my sister's having her ketamine infusion. But Mum thought maybe a Haven could keep me safe for a day? They say that's what they do. So we're waiting to hear from the Crisis Team.

What does your day hold?

Definitely take breaks, Jen. Hopefully it will help you to continue to do stuff and be at home. Hope you have a good day.

I hope everything goes ok, Tamo. Did you watch any Geordie Hospital?

Hi Jen, Tamo and Lindsay :)

Hope you can stay at home this time, Jen. Must be exhausting rushing in and out of hospital. I'm crossing my lucky fingers for you :)
Would you be okay with haven for a day, Tamo??
Are you up to anything today, Lindsay?

I was just at the gp for a blood sample. Even in small amounts, downtown is stressful!!!!

Currently my day is mainly waiting around for a load of medical calls and then seeing where those go. Got my neuro OT and nurse practitioner ringing me back at some point this morning and hoping they don't try and phone at same time. Going to ask nurse practitioner for best way to chase chest CT. As on discharge summary it was expected yesterday but haven't heard anything yet.

Otherwise I am trying my best to chill listening to music and internetting I am very sore in muscles but I have taken paracetamol and ibuprofen and want to be with it so can do phone calls do laying off my prescription painkillers.

I think if my FND wasn't a zillion times worse in hospital they would just be keeping me in rather than letting me bounce.

At some point I want to try and have a shower, get last of ecg sticker stickyness off.

And now to reply to all of you
Got a bit wrapped up in myself there!

Tamo I hope haven is helpful and if not/ they won't take you then that going to O with your mum and sister isn't too stressful.

What you up to today Lindsay? You always seem to ask about us but not let us know how you are doing!

Big thanks Zurg. Fingers crossed, I only have to make it to consultant appointment tomorrow morning without ambulance and A&E. Then getting a load more tests Nd doing more planning.

Blood samples suck. I have had far too many recently. Early hours of Tuesday even my good vein complained it had been stabbed too much and so we had to use my average vein instead! Crowds also suck. How is the menagerie today?

Hope going to O goes ok Tamo.

Still no phone calls for me. But you can bet if I try to shower one will occur. Hopefully nurse will call by 1pm or so as that's when morning surgery ends. Ot could be at any point cos she will have to squeeze me around her home visits etc.

The zoo is actually very Well behaved today. But they have had a bit of a difficult night, i Think. We've had some major roadwork going on at the main road just next to our block and to minimise the impact it has on traffic, they do the work at night. Last night the very big machines were at it and it made all the furniture and the floor vibrate like crazy all night. Quite the commotion if you're a small creature!!!

Trying to pull myself together and hoover my flat. I feel partly lazy and partly exhausted. I Think i also used up the last of my support worker's battery power because things get tricky with my crazies every now and then… At least he gets paid for it :/

Well done to the Zoo for behaving! Porr them with the roadworks though as an engineer who sometimes is responsible for roadworks occurring they have my utmost sympathy and many apologies on behalf of my profession

Can you do a half arse hoover? Something is usually better than nothing.

Tis support workers job. Did talking help with crazies?

OT and nurse have both called me back detials in my thread for those interested. I now have a glorious hour and half where I am not expecting any medical calls. Going to eat some lunch and then have dhower and finally get dressed.

I'm glad your menagerie seems OK Zurg. Have you spoken to your support worker?

Full update on phone calls in my thread. Mostly went well. Ot was especially useful. Nurse was good but mostly out of options. GP said no neb at surgery, as he doesn't like giving them and would rather I be seen at hospital if needed one, so only option if I deteoriate is go direct to A&E or ring 999. Which isn't ideal but is what it is.

CT scan scheduled for next Wednesday afternoon.

Now off to shower finally. As expecting no more phone calls this afternoon.

Morning all

I am currently sat in majors at Emergency Department trying to get out for my consultant appointment. But consultant appointment was automatically cancelled a sI am in ED. It's a nightmare the ED sister is trying to fix it as I am stable enough to leave ED but clearly need specialist follow up before the weekend. And admitting me is not ideal or definitely necessary.

Oh dear, that's not good!

I'm going for Confession at 11.30am. The priest is new so I don't know what to expect!

Hope confession goes ok, Tamo.
