**** definitely happens!

My asthma is flaring again.

That's fair I have some very supportive bralettes. And find underwire can be annoying sensory wise

Morning everyone!

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Not great bit fed up really. Asthma is worse than last week but a little better than when I was in and out if hospital. Definitely going to call GP surgery when they open, not that they can do much other than tell me to wait and see or raise steroids or send me to hospital. But at least they can see me and help me work out what's the right thing to do.

Debating on whether I have to cancel my dentist appointment this afternoon. But reckon I will have to pay a cancellation fee if I do. It would however probably be sensible not to go.

Good idea to talk to GP anyway. Just so they keep up to date with things.

Yeah probably sensible not to go!

Yeah. Just would prefer not to have to deal with it all.

Will sort GP stuff and get through at least the triage call back bit and then try getting in touch with the dentist I guess.

Nurse call back booked in. They offered me the duty GP but its someone I have never spoken to before so asked to talk to Nurse Practioner who I have seen 4 times during this flare instead. And now the waiting begins *twiddles thumbs*

Thanks I took a peek at the online system and the triage slot is booked for 9:05am. They usually call after the time slot because urgent medical care doesn't fit into 5 minute slots but it means I am near the beginning of her callback list at least.

Bless L. I hope you feel able to eat it.

Nurse called have an appointment at 12:10pm so we can still get our shopping in the click and collect slot 11 -12.

Called the dentist and turns out saying you had an asthma attack yesterday seems to wave any cancellation fees! Which was of course the truth but not having to pay extra money is one less thing to worry about. Have rescheduled for next week when hopefully I will be well enough.

That's convenient thar you can still get your shopping!
Hope the appointment goes ok.

That's good of the dentist!
My old one where i used to live kicked me off the list when i missed a couple of appointments due to seizures and didn't call them.
First one i couldn't call them, because i was having a seizure, second one i absolutely DID call, but really couldn't do the appointment because i was half asleep and groggy

Well I asked her if we could work around the shopping as I wanted to have food for the week. And she happily obliged.

It's a private dentist so they are unlikely to kick me off the list, but I was expecting to have to pay as it's day of appointment. There has been no NHS dentists avaliable in my area since I moved here permanently 7 years ago so last year I bit the bullet and went private. Luckily didn't need anywork done beyond a tooth cleaning so it's not been expensive yet.

Eurgh to your old dentist, I doubt they would want you turning up and having another seizure as they would have had to fill in forms so they should have been compassionate.

Thanks Tamo! Enjoy your readybrek! I am a big fan of all porridge related breakfasts, when I was a kid I used to have strawberry or chocolate readybrek as a treat. I wonder if they still do flavoured ones?

I think you can still get flavoured ones. I have mine with sultanas and honey.

My dentist sacked all their NHS patients so now I'm without dentist.

Ah ok!
It was a 10 year waiting list for nhs when i moved here 9 years ago. And I don't think any of those surgeries are even taking nhs patients anymore.
I can absolutely not afford private. I wouldn't even be able to afford nhs! Thankfully i get it paid because I'm on a low income.

Yes, I would get it paid because I'm on benefits. Also opticians.

Luckily because my work is still paying me prolonged disability pay I can afford it. I am just careful with my money as I can't really save right now and want to keep the savings I do have for if they were to decide I was fit to work when I thought I wasn't. It's fairly unlikely as they have been good so far but they just changed insurers and I would rather play it safe. As I only get mobility PIP (should get care but DWP am I right?) and my savings mean I wouldn't get universal credit until I used the savings up. My prolonged disability covers everything for now plus the occasional treat so it's all good though.

Ooh love sultanas. I have frozen blueberries in my porridge when I make it generally. But sometimes I got for sultanas

Hi all :)

You are all dealing with so many health woes :(
I am sending lots of healing vibes and healing bacteria your way.

I just had a small lunch. And going to have a nap soon. My body decided that it wanted to be in pain and uncomfortable most of the night so only a little bit of sleep happened >:(

Is anyone doing anything exciting or scandalous today?? Or maybe even both??? :D
