when is your next appointment with your therapist? can you tell her, then? you can tell her and see how it goes from there. she might not be able to do anything about it but at least, she will be able to support you through this.

you won't be betraying your parents. i know you think like that right now but it's not true. i also thought like that when i told my therapist about stuff. but your parents are the ones who are abusing you. they are the ones at fault and you're not. if it's hard to talk to your therapist, you can write a letter and give it to her.

they won't go to jail unless you decide to press charges. pressing charges is up to you. plus, since you're over 18, your therapist can't break confidentiality.
