I'm currently managed by a really posh, strict letting agent. My landlord is taking management over though (because I'm a star tenant.  (oh, and because it'll save her money...)). I'm going to ask her in July, as I'll have been here two years then and never caused a problem/cost her any money.

My checks were every three months for the first 6 months, now they're every six months. Next one is not due until after landlord takes over management. Not sure what she'll do then. When she phoned me to ask me if I'd mind her taking over from agent, she said her other tenants phone the plumber/sparky on their own and everything - landlord just leaves her to it and pays the bill because they're reliable. She said she'd be the same with me because I have not "been a royal pain in [her] arse." Haha.

Problem is when I’m unwell it can get really really bad and I struggle to keep on top of it even when well and I don’t want people to realise how bad things get although three of my friends have seen it pretty bad.
