Members hospital experinces required
I would like to hear peoples experinces with going to hospital for SI related things. This can be OD's, Injuries, panic attacks or even ED realted things.
I would like to know what you thought of your treatment, if it was good or bad, what things would have made it better, what was good about it. You get the idea.
Also important is to tell me which country you sought help in.
Some of these maybe used for the main site, annonmously, but if you dont want it on the main site be sure to tell me.
Can I ask that all experinces be PM'ed to me rather than posted in this thread.

Generally i thought i got treated okay for o/d.
One nurse took a bit of a stress when i threw up everywhere, i endede up arguing with one of them because i didnt want to stay the night.
Got put on an IV.
Most of the nurses were nice though and talked to me. not sure what else you want ton knoe!

And the reason why I want to know, is that I am putting together an hospital information pack for the main site and thought it would be good to have some of your experinces included in it for people who are unsure on going to hospital.

What if it's a bad experience? (Or experiences?)
Would that still be posted or not?
As i'm presuming because you're posting a pack for other members that are wary of going, you'd be more willing to post the good responses than the bad?

is this meaning only general hospitals or are you wanting experiences of adolescent units or psych hospitals as well?

^^ I think it's about getting medical treatment for something that results from a psychiatric illness, rather than about inpatient psych treatment.

We are looking for a variety of responses. Once we get a bunch we will review them and determine exactaly how/what we are going to post on the main site.
We are looking for physical treatment, like you would receive in A&E, not really IP treatment. Although, if you ended up IP after being seen in A&E we would like to hear about your A&E experience.
