I'm a smiley person. A smile is much easier then having to explain, or just shrug off any inquisitions as to why you may be looking down. Smile smile smile. I'm a master :)
Erin, does that work?
I mean should it actually just come down to the fact, i should indeed smile all the time, because its just easier?

I'm going to be one of those damn crazy ladies!
Yeah, no-one ever asks. But it's a double edged sword. It's so strongly a habit now, I smile even when I'm breaking apart and yearning for nothing more then for someone to ask if I am okay... *shrugs and smiles*
I often get asked whats wrong, as if I'm not smiling I guess I look miserable, but the worst is when people say, 'whats up with you then?' because its like, theyre asking how you are but they begrudge asking you, its a barbed question, so even though i was fine (my face always looks like that), them asking me that has ****ed me right off!! phew I must breathe
I smile at people. I'm a smiley person. However, I don't go round with a smile plastered on my face all day. I just smile if i make eye contact with someone, or if it's a little old lady/man, or a mum struggling with kids, or something.
In the paper the other day it said there was a study out that showed faking a smile is bad for your health i should go and find the article but i really cnt be bothered tonight maybe later... sorry. but anyway the point is theres scientific backing when you want to tell people to f-off
how can you get expelled from a school for not smiling enough??
i'm like erin. i sat through my entire last counselling session with a huge smile on my face, just cos it was easier that way. it makes me feel like an idiot though.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break
that its heart may stand in the sun,
so must you know pain.
There are only two ways in which one can live their life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is.
