It depends on the course and the uni. A lot of unis don't interview for most courses but for things like nursing they usually will. Not just because of popularity but also because of the importance of how you present in person and relate to people etc.
Beckie you will be fine! You've done really well and worked so hard with your maths, you can do it.
I've applied for social work masters courses. I've only heard back from one uni, just asking for evidence of some of my qualifications. I'm so nervous! It's only been a week since I submitted my application but I'm so anxious and obsessively checking my emails haha.
"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."
I've basically convinced myself that not having heard anything yet is basically the same as a rejection. I'm so ridiculous. It's been A WEEK!

I applied for five. It's through UCAS so I thought I might as well use all my choices!
When are your interviews?

I've already got offers from 2 universities but not from my first choice so I'm still anxiously waiting to see if they'll want to interview me.
I have an 600 words of an assignment to finish tonight and have to start/finish a 2,000 word assignment tomorrow that's due in on Thursday. Really wish I could stop procrastinating!
I also have a Dyslexia assessment tomorrow morning and I'm a bit worried they will say nothing is wrong with me as I've learnt to adapt to it over the years. I can't remember the original one I had as I was 8.

My dyslexia tests came back with me not having dyslexia but she was very good at writing the report.instead of dyslexia i have a learning disability otherwise specified or something like that. I had been diagnosed with dyspraxia and dyslexia at college but obvs like you had adapted to it because I found out so late. She didn't write me off basically. Good luck with it.
I have finished my assisngemts I have a presentation on thurs (100% of the module mark) so need the motivation to write more of my script and practice. So nervous I hate presentations and there is so much riding on it.
Life can be beautiful if you let it.
Step back, breathe and take it in
I was told before the tests that they aren't actually proper Dyslexia tests just ones so that we can get extra support through College for exams. If I want 1 to 1 support at University I will need to pay privately (£300-400!) for a diagnostic test.
I received an offer from my first choice university and I nearly had a panic attack when I saw they grades they are asking for. They want me to achieve 21 Distinctions and 24 Merits which means every graded assignment I give in has to be perfect. I'm hoping that my second choice uni will give me a lower offer so I have a back up plan.
You've done so well Leigh! Good luck with the presentation :)

I am part of the university scheme to be offered a points reduction so in January I might phone and ask how that translates to the Access credits so I don't spend 7 months stressing that I won't get the grades. I guess I'll just have to work really hard as I have my heart set on the university.
I might be able to apply through clearing if I miss the offer but I would be nervous of leaving it so late incase all the cheap accommodation is gone but you're right it is always an option.
