Nocturnal/Night time panic attacks
I have had mental health issues for what feels like forever however this week it has changed.
I have had a lot of stress over the last week, failling relationship, starting a new job which I have to travel for training, money etc etc
Despite this i have managed to keep a check on things but the last few nights I have started having night panic attacks which I have never had before.
About an hour or 2 after I fall asleep I wake up mid panic attack. I have to then fully wake up before I can try going to sleep again.
I have had panic attacks before but in the day so I can feel them coming on and try and do this to minimise them but these night ones are horrific as I dont see them coming and boom full blown panic attack.
Does anyone have any advice on how to prevent or at least mellow these?
I am currently waking up and taking diazepam which I really dont like using.
Any help would be greatly appreciated x
