I had an amazing time, It was only my second con but I met so many amazing people and made a lot of new friends!
I'm thinking of going to Hyper Japan as well, will be my first time going though so I don't really know what to expect, I'm sure it will be great though.
Also one of my friends put one of my cosplay photos next to a screenshot of the character and I am still laughing about it 3 days later! I think I have a pretty good annoyed face xD

Nendoroids are actually the cutest things I have ever seen! I really really want the Hinata one. Good Smile, the company that makes them, actually had a booth at mcm and I practically ran to the stall and searched but they didn't have the one I wanted. I was so gutted. One day I will own it!
As for what i'm watching due to my internet situation i'm only keeping up with a few shows right now, mainly Assassination Classroom and Kuroko no Basuke, both of which finish in a few weeks then i'll be looking for more to watch, or maybe i'll just try and catch up on everything i've fallen behind with.
I'm also keeping up with Hibike! Euphonium. I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much when I first started watching it. I only started watching it in the first place because it's made by KyoAni which has made some truly beautiful animations in the past. But I honestly love it. It's about a high school concert band. I have never been in a concert band, nor do I particularly enjoy that type of music normally, but in this series I love it! I love the characters, the music, the uniforms for the band - they are so cute and I kind of want to make a cosplay with the uniform!

Aww that is an awesome cosplay! :) You really do suit pink hair.
Me and my boyfriend are just booking Hyper Japan. We've never been before so we're super excited! It's costing us a lot to travel and stay in London, but it'll be worth it. We love anything Japan related. It's basically our trip away for our second anniversary, which will be nice.
I heard about them having a booth at MCM and me and my boyfriend were so pissed! We collect them... Well he has more of a collection than me at the moment. He has nearly all the Attack on Titan ones now (mostly thanks to me!).
He has Eren on the way next, my anniversary present for him. :)
I would say look on eBay and set your preferences to UK only and if they don't have pictures of the box (with valid holographic sticker) then they're most likely a fake! My boyfriend bought a fake Ryuk but when he contacted the seller they offered him a refund straight away and he returned the doll.
I've seen Hinata on eBay before but currently there doesn't seem to be any... Which sucks. :(
Sometimes I feel like I am the only person who enjoyed Death Note past episode 25. Mello is my favourite character. I don't particularly like Near that much, but then I don't really think you are meant to like him all that much anyway. It really depends on which side you take.
Woah, that is a lot of downloaded anime! I wish I had a library that big.

Palladion that's an awesome pic of you and your hair looks awesome in it too
I've just started watching chaos head, I'm a few episodes in and it's interesting so far and I think I'm going to rewatch black lagoon at some point too.
chaos;head could have been so much more than it was. all it needed was to be a 2cour show (24eps) instead of just 12 episodes. visual novel was top notch tho.

pretty sure a large portion of the fanbase enjoy the post-L part of death note. i just personally found it terrible, not because of mello or near, but because light lost. i hated that the mangaka had to turn it into the "good guys always win" schtick instead of keeping it fresh with the bad guy winning. at the very least, kira could have had a better downfall than two random deus ex machina orphan kids.
also, lol, i've got another few hundred gigs on my hdd but im too lazy to use a second external just to keep my anime. i should probably watch some stuff so i can maybe make more room.
i like keeping shows i like tho :c
i remember when days were simpler, when i just used to stream anime. now if i dont get it in at least 720p (or 480 if dvd source, like for older shows), i feel like i have eye-cancer watching it.
I always have a sort of soft spot for Death Note (even though I've only watched the first two episodes!) as it was what my boyfriend put on for us to watch on our second date. :')
I need to watch it, but I worry it won't be my sort of thing. :(

pretend its house of cards except with only two people
I watched the latest episode of Kuroko no Basuke yesterday.... I don't even know what is going on right now. This is definitely not basketball anymore haha. Half the court is on fire, there's bloody mind control. Why do I enjoy this so much?!? It literally stresses me out every time I watch it because this one match has been going on for about 4 episodes and there's still another 3 or 4 to go and it's so intense! Times like this I really hate waiting a week between episodes.
Also I'm really sad that Assassination Classroom will finish in a few weeks. I hope it gets a second season, there is so much more to the manga that they won't have time to animate this season. Also I want to cosplay as Kaede next MCM and I want it to still be relevant so I will keep my fingers crossed for a season 2.
Speaking of cons I bought my ticket for HyperJapan. I can only go on the Sunday because I couldn't get the time off work. I can't wait though, now just to decide whether or not to cosplay. If I do i'll be going as Mitsuru from Persona 3, but I think it all depends on if my friend is going in costume as well.

Oh wow, that cosplay, I love it. Also the clipboard, lmao. All this talk about conventions is really making me want to go to one.
Also I've been gone for way too long, so much to catch up on.
Death Note is indeed a great anime. One of my favorites. I enjoyed the entire thing, to be honest. I wasn't quite as enthralled with the second portion of the show, but I think the entire thing was enjoyable. Still leagues above many other shows I've seen.
@MoNo: that is an impressive collection. I couldn't tell you what to watch, though, I have a hard enough time trying to determine that for myself, lol. Is that all mostly stuff you've seen, or stuff you mean to watch later? I tend to just stream anime. I can usually find what I'm looking for at 720p or higher on various websites. If I can't, for whatever reason, then I'll download it somewhere. If I STILL can't find anything, I'll usually sit through 480p, but that's usually a bit of a challenge for me to finally sit down and get through it. That said, usually after an episode or two, I don't notice it so much anymore, so it's not too much of a problem.
@Palladion: I also have no clue what's going on in that show anymore. All of a sudden there's another door, and it was opening, but I don't really know if it opened? Also has 'The Zone' always been water? Also why is there lightning and fire everywhere? I guess as long as it's entertaining, it doesn't matter, lmao.
I'm waiting for Assassination Classroom to finish so that I can watch the rest of it all in one go. I've already watched most of the show, but I took a break, and I'm running out of time for more anime.
Also Mitsuru would be interesting. Little darker than your previous cosplays, but it'd almost certainly work out the same way.

Anyhow, I'm still just watching mostly the same stuff. I made a horrible mistake and started watching Prince of Tennis. It's a great anime, it's just long. And now I don't have time for almost anything else. I'm still trying to keep up with KnB, Owari no Seraph, Arslan Senki, DanMachi, and World Trigger...Well, trying is the key word there. Luckily, I have about enough time for an episode or two a night, so it works out pretty well. Regardless, I think my favorite show this season is Owari no Seraph. Arslan Senki is also pretty interesting, though. KnB I'd put as my second favorite for now.
In any case, that's a super short update of what I've been doing. Next season is about to start, I guess, so I'll have to look up what new shows are going to be starting up soon. I'll return with another update whenever I've got more information, but for my current recommendations are:
Owari no Seraph
Arslan Senki
Kuroko no Basket
Prince of Tennis is great for someone who has too much time on their hands. It's well over a hundred episodes, and is also pretty old (meaning low quality), but if you're still willing to give it a try, it is a pretty good show.
DanMachi is a toss up. I feel like I enjoy the show, but then again, I'm not sure that I'd really recommend it to anyone. I'm going back and forth on it a lot.
World Trigger started off pretty well, but feels like it's been dragging on for ages, and is starting to bore me a bit, so it's hard to recommend that either. I'd have recommended it a few episodes ago, but that's about it. They basically have a million battles going on but no action happens for about 90% of the show. On top of that, the first 3-4 minutes are taken up by an update on whatever happened in the last few episodes, then the opening credits play kind of whenever they feel like (halfway through the show sometimes), and then when the show ends, it feels like the episode was only about 10 minutes long sometimes. I don't know, sometimes it's a decent show, but there are a lot of little things about it that bother me. I'll stick with it until the end, though. I guess it's worth doing. I'll let you know if I change my mind about it later.
I finally caught up with Owari no Seraph. Holy crap it is so good! I can't believe there's only one episode left though! At least a second season has been confirmed.
So many people commented on my clipboard! I'm so glad I made it, people found it funny, plus there was a kuroko cosplayer at the photoshoot and we had great fun playing around with it. I haven't been able to contact the kuroko cosplayer since to try and find the photos but hopefully one day i'll find them because i'm willing to bet they are pretty funny.
I swear the zone wasn't always water, I thought it was just a massive door, literally where did all this water come from??? Ah well it's still a fun show, even though the last episode was quite literally 1 minute of gameplay. All of the Akashi backstory had me sobbing though.
I'm excited to cosplay a different kind of character. I spray painted a toy gun silver to make an evoker and I think it'll feel great to try out some poses that aren't so cutesy and more 'I will murder you if you cross me' xD
As for the next anime season, there's a few things that i'll try to watch. The next season of Durarara!! of course (although I do need to finish the last 3 episodes of the last season at some point first). Charlotte sounds like something I will enjoy. Plus the Haikyuu!!, and Yowapeda movies. It doesn't sound like much but I'm sure I will pick more stuff up as the season goes on, like I did this season.

What is going on in KnB now?? First the zone was a door, then it was water, then there was fire everywhere, now they are in space. I genuinely spent the last few minutes of the episode crying with laughter and singing 'Space Jam'.
I can't believe it's all going to be over next week though. I mean on the one hand it will do wonders for my health not having a 20 minute long heart attack each week, but I will actually miss them, the anime is over, the manga is over. There is Extra Game but we only get a new chapter of that every 2 months. It kind of feels like the end of an era!
Assassination Classroom is over now as well, although I will be very surprised if that doesn't get a second season. The manga is constantly topping the manga charts and it is so popular I feel as though another season is almost guaranteed at this point, I'm thinking the winter season if we are lucky but probably more likely to be the spring season 2016.
Owari no Seraph is over until October as well. I think this has been one of my favourite anime seasons so far!
We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken
Barakamon is a pretty meaningful anime with a plot and good comedy to boot. Light-hearted and inspirational (at times), its a pretty well done 12 episode anime.
Gangsta is all over my dash on tumblr! I might have to give it a go, everyone says it's so good and I kind of feel like i'm missing out.
So far this season i've only started Charlotte, which i'm really enjoying so far and Aoharu x Kikanjuu which, as of the first episode, I can sum up as Ouran High School Host club... with guns. I loved episode 1.
