Hi here, I'm sorry to hear that. What seems to be the problem to why no one talks to u? You sure it's not only u thinking this?

Have I tried using the forums and chat on here? Thats where u can maybe find out more about people and they will talk to u back. Ssometimes putting urself out there may work better then waiting for others talking to u. Everyone has to do that at some point.

I know what u mean. I feel like people don't want to talk to me either but it's changed in ways of putting myself out there and getting to know people in social situations. You have to build ur confidence first and get use to be around people.

Do u have someone like a best friend on the outside?

I would try what I suggested and do that.

People just think I'm a freak... I have my boyfriend and he's the best... The chat doesn't work on my phone... I just need friends who are supportive of my recovery

Have u thought about any of the above that I have suggested? You won't find it on here. Everyone is nice. You get the odd person. There's been a few people I didnt get on with but I don't speak to them and only those that make effort with me.

I'm glad u got ur bf. I think speaking to him will do u some good. Maybe going out with him and his mates would be good for u as u can get to know them. I'm sure ur be ok. Try it and see.

The best advice I can give is check out the forums and chat and as much as possible dive right in, you'll probably find someone with similar interests or experiences, also most people I know don't mind the odd random private message (PM) so just go for it, we're nice, really :)

its hard to know new people and find true friends, or at least someone who understands, but sometimes you need to take the first step instead of waiting for the other person to approach you. this is just insecurity and it is a lil difficult to overcome, but not impossible. do not be too preoccupied with what others might think of you; really youre just judging and sabotaging yourself with this. *hug*
