6 Nations!

I know this thread is rather early but i'm bored.

Is anyone else a little excited about the upcoming 6 Nations?!

It all kicks off on 1st February with Wales vs Italy.

Are you planning on doing anything for 6 Nations? Going to any of the matches? Who are you rooting for?

I'll probs just go down to my local and have a few pints and hopefully a sing song haha.

Wales!! (I'm technically English, but I will be destroyed if I support England in Wales :P and everyone in my house is Welsh!)

I shall be doing similar Mike, probably going to the pub to watch the first match!

Have you ever looked fear in the face and said "I just don't care"?

England! Demons to be overcome from last year, and we've got a real up and coming team. Hello Luther Burrell!

Also, cracking weekend in the Heineken cup this weekend. Good for the Irish! Not so great for us English guys! All about the Irish and the French.

Took awhile for someone to say England haha.

I hope Wales can take it again, I know they've been struggling a bit lately though.

Will you be doing anything fun for it or just chilling at home watching?

Wales have had serious injury woes, and Gethin Jenkins getting injured this weekend won't help things, but realistically they're in with a good chance. People like Warburton and Roberts should be back by at least the middle of the 6 nations. They're playing well, though, it's just the southern hemisphere teams are another step up.

Being fully honest, France or Wales are probably the form teams at the moment, but England really do have a developing squad and they're better than they have been, if they sort the backs out!

Sorry, I'm a complete Rugby bore.

But, this year I'm not doing anything special for it, I usually try to get to a home game, but this year life/money's got in the way, so it'll be home/pub to shout at the telly!

I have heard there have been some bad mess ups (people getting hurt) which is a bummer but hey ho, we might pull it out the bag!

I have to admit, i'm not a massive follower of rugby but I do enjoy it greatly.

I want to go to my local (It's a welsh pub!) and start a sing song, i'm thinking Cwm Rhondda and Hymns And Arias! :D

Not confident at all, but the joy of being a scotland supporter is that we don't need a win to be happy :)

A win is just a extra benefit.

Oh I understand that one! It's all fun even if you don't win!

Because otherwise we'd always be depressed! The joy is in the banter, and the normally crazy foreigners, and the (old) men in kilts.

I'm normally either out or working at the weekend these days, so won't really be able to keep up on the rugby. I'm obliged to support Scotland, but I'm backing France. Got to keep that Auld Alliance going.

It's really about the banter, I don't care if Wales win (I hope they do) but if i'm with good company and enjoying watching that's all that matters!
