Adam, I'm about halfway through Hartnell's run at the moment. I think it's gonna take me quite a bit more than three months to get all the way through the show! It'll probably take half of my life. :P
My brother bought me the tenth Doctor's screwdriver for christmas. You can write secret messages and the light will reveal them. Pretty darn cool. My Dad got a TARDIS mug, which I'm insanely jealous of!
Yay for Doctor Who!
It's the children the world almost breaks that grow up to save it.

6 days after I was born, was the start of Logopolis, Tom Baker's last serial.
My last classic Doctor Who purchase was Robot, a Tom Baker serial, but I have yet to watch it. I really want Invasion of the Dinosaurs and the Sea Devils however. I really love Keeping Up Appearances and want all the Doctor Who serials featuring Keeping Up Appearances actors.

That's got to be a pretty small number of serials.

I know! But I do have plenty of other classic Doctor Who serials to keep me happy. I cant remember what I do have, other than The Unearthly Child, Logopolis, The Trial of the Timelord boxset. Oh and the Green Death & City of Death. I know I have at least 1 from every Doctor (with the exception of Peter Capaldi).

I love Doctor Who so much I am writing my dissertation on it.
I own a lot of theory books on the show as well as some of the encyclopedia type books. I also have a bow tie, several converse, the Ninth and Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver, several mugs, some of the novels, a cardboard cut out of the 10th doctor and some other bits and bobs.
And I've been to the Doctor Who experience twice in a year (once for dissertation research another with friends for fun).
However, I wouldn't call myself a full Whovian as I haven't actually watched any classic Who. I am waiting until after my dissertation is complete to binge watch it all! I do know a bit about it and have watched the odd Baker episode.
William Hartnell: The Beginning boxset
Patrick Troughton: The Invasion
John Pertwee: The Three Doctors, Green Death

I own William Hartnell, from The Beginning to The Web Planet. Not many.
And Matt Smith, the 7th season of the New Doctor Who series.
It's not many but i've seen all the others online. I'm rewatching the movie with Paul McGann at this very moment.
Underrated.

BTW< related to the film, this is an audition tape, Paul McGann recorded around the time of the movie, when America was trying to revive the Doctor Who franchise and make it their own.
All I can say is, if this is any indication of the quality of story they would have come up with, thank goodness they didn't succeed in reviving it.

Born in the late 80's, I grew up during the 90's. Doctor Who had been cancelled since 1989 - I was too young to remember it.
I grew up with repeats. I caught different Doctors at different points in my life.
I know how River Song felt, never catching that man in the right order.
I now wonder is River Song is a metaphor for all of us who caught the Doctor on late night repeats in the 90's, never meeting him in the right order.
John Pertwee, I saw in The Monster of Peladon
Tom Baker, I saw in Genesis of the Daleks.
Peter Davidson, I saw in Earthshock
Colin Baker, I saw in Vengeance on Varos
Sylvester McCoy, I saw in Battlefield
Paul McGann, I saw in the Movie.
They were all My Doctor!

I remember a Sylvester McCoy episode from my childhood. Sadly I have no idea which one it was. Someone on a Doctor Who forum I used belong to suggested Battlefield, but it wasnt that one, but I did enjoy Battlefield.

I am so excited for season 8 to air in Autumn next year. I only started watching it from the Matt Smith series but I would like to watch the others especially the David Tennant ones. I think Capaldi will be a good Doctor. :)
I mean I didn't know it was a Dr Who scarf until someone told me, but nonetheless I do like it.
I am not a "Whovian"
You can buy an authentic replica of the Tom Baker scarf from the BBC shop.
It's £50, but it's over twelve feet long.
