Discharge from belly button/painful tummy

Just wondering what this could be. It seems too trivial to take up a docs appointment with but couple days ago I noticed tummy was sore in belly button area. I put some savalon on it and all it was is painful when I bend over.

Now woke up this morning to find like a clear discharge coming out of it and still sore when I move. It just seems too trivial to go docs about.

Belly buttons are awful for harbouring bacteria especially anaerobic stuff which is nasty and smelly and painful if infection occurs. May not need doctors. Keep it clean and dry. When you come out of the bath dry it with the cool setting of a hair dryer and in between try keep it clean and try.

Sounds like a yeast/fungal infection. Really common.
Wash the area (saline solution or sea salt water) dry (try and pay dry not rub ) twice a day and it should clear up. If not go to the doctors.
Do you wear a lot of tight fitting clothes? Tht can make it worse

If it's coming back every few months and you don't know what it is then i'd go and see a doctor just to be sure it's not anything more than a broken cyst.

Stop to eat junk foods or too much cause it will give you more pain in tummy, just take medicine and eat properly or just healthy diet.

If you don't want to see your GP about things you feel are too minor then pharmacists also give advice- you can ask to speak to them in private.

But if this keeps re-occuring then you should really see your GP and get it sorted.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
